Type of Work
This is religious and treatment services work for the Department of Public Welfare involving the direction and coordination of a comprehensive chaplaincy program for individuals in state mental health, mental retardation, and geriatric care facilities. Employees supervise, monitor, and integrate various chaplaincy services with multidisciplinary treatment team services to provide a total system of care, treatment, and rehabilitation. The work includes conducting worship services, ecumenical services, religious classes, and pastoral counseling.
