Understanding Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) 2008
The "Understanding AYP 2008" presentation was designed to explain how schools and districts can ensure that AYP determinations for 2008 are correct by providing information on correct attribution of students, correct assignment of demographic information for students, and knowledge and understanding of the targets schools and districts must meet. In addition, the presentation outlines the AYP Appeals process for 2008 and provides all timelines for AYP.
