Deploying in Managed Services The Managed Services (MS) deployment model is designed to provide full application hosting services, which includes application support, monitoring and a structured deployment methodology. This environment leverages a shared infrastructure to reduce overall hosting costs.
The EDC MS Deployment Process overview and implementation guide describes the deployment steps for applications and changes being deployed to the Enterprise Data Center Managed Services environment. We use a repeatable, prescriptive deployment model when making changes to the managed hosting environment we provide to our customers. The managed services deployment model is described in detail as well as expressing when this process needs to be followed and when circumstances may warrant a variation outside of this process.
The EDC MS Document Template is used by any agency that wants to have thier application hosted in the Enterprise Data Center. The agency uses this document to provide the technical details of how their particular application functions.
The EDC MS Deployment Sign-Off Form is used to record and acknowledge the approval of all parties when an application release or update is code complete, staging complete, and production complete. This sign-off form is required for all deployments in MS.
The EDC MS Process Flow and Calendar provides an overview flow and calendar of the EDC deployment process for managed services.
If your agency wants to engage new services within the EDC, please submit a request via Service Engagement Review Process (SERP).
