Distance Learning
The Distance Learning Project (DLP) is a statewide initiative that collaborates with agencies to provide distance learning opportunities for adult learners interested in preparing for the GED® tests, developing their workplace skills, and/or improving their reading, writing or math skills.

English Literacy/Civics Education
EL/Civics funding supports programs to teach English language instruction in the context of civics and citizenship goals.

Family Literacy
Family literacy programs address the literacy needs of all members of the family while promoting parents' involvement in their children's education. These programs integrate early childhood education and adult education in a unified program. The Pennsylvania Department of Education Bureau of Postsecondary and Adult Education administers the family literacy program through Pennsylvania's Adult Literacy Act 143.

GED® Tests preparation
Instruction is available to prepare adults who do not have a high school diploma to take the GED® Tests to earn the Commonwealth Secondary Diploma.
