African American History Programs at PHMC

The Black History Advisory Committee is an advisory committee to the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) established in 1976 to advise the PHMC on its black history programming.

The Annual Conference on Black History in Pennsylvania is an event sponsored by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission and other local and state organizations. It focuses on different aspects of Pennsylvania's African American heritage.
