International Commission of Holocaust Era Insurance Claims
In 2000, the state of Pennsylvania participated in a worldwide launch of the outreach effort to inform Holocaust victims and their heirs of the claims process set up by the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims (ICHEIC).
Acknowledging the passage of time and difficulty of locating many documents, ICHEIC has relaxed the standards of proof to file a claim. If you think you have a claim, call the toll free hotline at 1-800-957-3203 to receive a claims packet. Muliti-lingual counselors are available on the hotline to answer questions. Packets also are available on the ICHEIC website at www.ICHEIC.org or through this Web site.
