American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 0f 2009

On February 17th, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) into law. As part of the nation's economic recovery strategy, this stimulus bill includes at least $2.6 billion for Pennsylvania's schools.

The Commonwealth and its school districts share an enormous responsibility for deploying these funds effectively and quickly. The Pennsylvania Department of Education will post resources and updates related the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to assist school districts with utilizing the funds received directly as a result of the stimulus bill.
