Data Migration FAQ's

  • Can the information from our current system be transferred to this new system?

Yes, migration of current client data will be migrated into ETO. However, as part of the contract with Social Solutions, assistance with migration will be provided to victim service programs that choose to take part in the client data management.

  • If we have a client information system, will we have to build entire client records in this as well?

You can continue to use your client information system and only use the Aggregate and Outcomes portion of ETO. If you choose to use the ETO Client/Data Management system, you can import the data from your current system into ETO.

  • Can programs data mine their data collected over a specific time period, for example 5 years?

Yes, as long as we have configured the necessary data elements to support this level of reporting. While we are striving to be standardized as possible in the creation of a template site, there will be some pieces of data that will need to be configured per victim service agency.

  • How much old data can be brought into the client/data management system? We currently have about 11 years in R/Client.

That is a programmatic decision. It will be up to each program to decide how many years of data they want to migrate into ETO.
