The Remedy application supports the commonwealth’s asset management system, which tracks IT-related equipment, hardware, software and network resources. The system is designed to manage warranty, lease, software, maintenance and support contracts in order to determine current IT capabilities and support. The system is also used to identify and manage all assets included in the Department of General Services contract for IT hardware maintenance (search by description for "IT hardware maintenance").

|1st of Month||Assets are effective on the IT hardware maintenance contract.
|1st Friday of Month||Bulk loads for the IT hardware maintenance contract should be submitted to ensure loading by processing time for the following month.
|14th thru 18th of Month||L&I can ship its assets for IT hardware maintenance for the following month prior to processing.
|20th of Month||OA processes all agency IT assets that will be covered by IT hardware maintenance for the following month.
