*General Election Audit Lottery
The Pennsylvania Election Code provides for an independent audit of campaign finance reports filed by candidates and their political committees from three percent of the districts represented on the ballot for the primary and general elections. Section 1635 of the Campaign Finance Reporting Law requires the Secretary of the Commonwealth to select by lottery, at a public drawing conducted forty days after each election, those districts to be audited. In a general election year seven districts are selected for each election.
The General Election Audit Lottery will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 1, 2013 in Room 210 of the North Office Building.
*Independent Expenditure Reports: Paper copies are available in 210 North Office Building for review. Please contact our office for more information.
