The Capitol Police invite you to take a tour of our beautiful Capitol. Before you go on a tour, you will have to go through security screening.
During your visit you can help keep our Capitol safe by following these rules.
- Please pay attention while the Officer is giving directions.
- Please keep your voices down and ask questions if you don't understand the directions.
- Officers must be able to hear their radios, as they may have to respond to emergencies.
- Do not block the doorways; once you walk through the metal detector, you may pick up your items off the conveyor belt and exit through the doors promptly.
- During your tour if you should get lost or separated from your group, a Capitol Police Officer will help you find your group. You can find a Capitol Police Officer walking through the Capitol. Don't be afraid to ask a Capitol Police Officer for help. A Capitol Police is your friend.
