Program Title –  *Pathway Guide Booklet entitled “Pathways To The Future” 
                               *Ideas For Planning a “Career Night”  

Goals/Objectives: 

  • Objectives of the “Pathways To the Future” are to introduce career clusters, career pathways, and related academic courses.
  • Objective of the Career Night information is to present a general outline in organizing and planning a career night.

Brief Description of Program:  The Pathway Guide Booklet and the Career Night are both programs to accomplish the following:

  1. Introduce and describe 6 major career pathways

  2. Description of related academic courses per pathway 

  3. Provide helpful career information and resources 

  4. Description of Tech Prep 

  5. Suggestions on how to complete a job application and compose different kind of resumes

Results of Activity:  Result of both programs is to better expose and inform students about career pathways and a variety of career information.

Evaluation Tools & Procedures:  School counselors will monitor both programs through paper pencil evaluations, surveys, and through appropriate academic course selections based on chose career path.
