Program Title – Developing an Advisory Program Connected to the Graduation Project
Goals/Objectives: Sophomores receive an adult advisor for their graduation project with monthly meetings. In the junior year, the students are then assigned a weekly activity period with their adult project advisor.
Brief Description of Program: This on-going relationship will provide a professional staff member for each student to access for advice concerning all options and aspects of college and career planning.
Results of Activity: As a result of this activity, students will have the consistency of an adult advisor and will be better able to apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate the information gained through the graduation project.
Evaluation Tools & Procedures: Each graduation project will be closely monitored by three adult members. There is also a “Graduation Project Evaluation” attached to every project application.
