Field Experience and Student Teaching Survey (PDF 9/16/2011) The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) contracted with the Shippensburg University Center for Educational Leadership to assist the Department to better understand challenges facing school districts and institutions of higher education as they pertain to the development and placement of student teachers, interns and other field placements. Program providers are encouraged to read the complete document and use it as a tool to foster communication and collaboration with their local school districts.
