On June 9, 2006, The National Animal Welfare Foundation, Inc. was ordered by a New Jersey court to pay $330,000 in punitive damages to the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office and to turn over all collection canisters. The National Animal Welfare Foundation, Inc. had placed canisters in the northeastern parts of Pennsylvania. The canisters were usually yellow in color. Anyone who has knowledge of any collection canisters still in use within Pennsylvania is asked to contact Chief Edward H.
