Key Programmatic Functions

  • Function in a consultative role to agency heads, bureau directors, managers, supervisors and other high-level executives on organization management, classification, pay and SAP related issues
  • Determine appropriate classification of vacant and filled positions by performing desk audits, conducting surveys and participating in reorganization requests
  • Revise existing or draft new job specifications for Executive Board approval
  • Monitor the update of agency position descriptions
  • Develop and conduct training on policy, programs, procedures and methods for assigned functional areas
  • Approve/disapprove requests to assign Temporary Working Out of Class
  • Manage the assignment of SAP roles for positions/employees (including human resources, payroll, travel, budget, procurement and finance roles)
  • Manage the structural authorization (appropriate access) for positions
  • Manage the resolution of all SAP Workflow problems by researching position/organization information in SAP
  • Administer the Financial Disclosure process under Act 170 and the Governor's Code of Conduct by reviewing forms of employees required to file and monitoring the completion of the filing process
