Communities That Care

Communities That Care (CTC) is a delinquency and violence prevention planning model that helps the community to mobilize, identify risk and preventive factors and develop a comprehensive prevention plan.

PCCD, through a contract with the Evidence-Based Prevention and Intervention Support (EPIS) Center at Pennsylvania State University's Prevention Research Center, provides commonwealth-wide regional training, technical assistance, project sustainability and community board development on the CTC model.
