02-13-2013: Phase 3 LEA CP Process Training Schedule Released

The Comprehensive Planning Support Team (CPST) is pleased to announce the summer CP process training schedule for Phase 3 LEAs (Districts, CTCs, Charters & IUs). The CPST is providing onsite training at each IU location. The training will begin with a two-hour general session for all types of LEAs at 9:00 AM. Then, Districts, CTCs, Charters & IUs will have an opportunity to respectively meet and discuss their specific versions and implementation of the process. During the break-out sessions the CPST and your local intermediate unit CP points of contact will be available to consult and advise. The end time of the training depends on how long your attending team wants to meet and discuss the process with similar LEAs.

10-15-2012: Planning Requirements Associated with 2012 AYP Status

Districts and their Schools, Charter Schools and Comprehensive CTCs will receive a hardcopy letter of their AYP status and their NCLB associated planning requirements (if applicable) shortly after its mailing Friday, October 19. Please advise your office staff of the letter’s pending arrival. To review your AYP Related Planning Requirements, please select the appropriate link. Important Dates

5-31-2013	Phase 2 Special Education components due.
6-30-2013	School Level Plans due for schools within a district identified as School Improvement I or II, Corrective Action I or II and Making Progress based on 2012 PSSA results.
7-1-2013 to 7-30-2013	Phase 3 Districts, Charters, Career & Technical Centers and Intermediate Units receive training on the Comprehensive Planning Process and web application.
8-1-2013	Charter Annual Reports due via the Comprehensive Planning web application.
11-30-2013	Phase 2 LEA Comprehensive Plans due.
