
Consumer Information
The Consumer Services staff at the Department of Banking answer complaints and inquiries daily through this website and more than 6,000 calls each year to the 1-800-PA-BANKS (1.800.722.2657) consumer hotline. Our professionally trained staff is available Monday through Friday to provide accurate information and honest advice on a variety of consumer financial issues. We also provide online updates about potential scams and enforcement actions taken by the Department, as well as informational materials for distribution and display.
