
Community Outreach
We believe that the only way for the Department of Banking to fully understand Pennsylvania’s communities is to talk with and listen to the people in them. We reach out to community leaders and advocacy groups to talk about the delivery of financial services in the Commonwealth. We work together to craft solutions to problems ranging from closing gaps in service and culturally appropriate products to getting the word out about predatory lending practices.
The Department of Banking provides a variety of informational materials for community groups, financial counseling agencies, churches and other organizations to distribute to consumers - free of charge!
