Welcome to the New Electronic
Board Newsletters

Over the last year, the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs has been working on transforming the board’s newsletters from traditional paper newsletters sent once or twice a year through the regular mail to electronic newsletters available every two months. Electronic newsletter issues have been posted on the Department of State Web site since spring. We now have the capability to deliver the newsletters directly to your e-mail address.

Electronic newsletters allow us to deliver more timely information more often – at a fraction of the cost. We are trying to use the resources licensees provide the board as efficiently as possible, while improving the newsletters in the process. If there are topics you would like to see addressed in the bimonthly newsletters, please let us know by clicking on the “Contact Us” button at the bottom of the newsletter.

To ensure you continue to receive the newsletter, please make sure you update your e-mail address in the MyLicense application at

www.mylicense.state.pa.us. The newsletters, and an archive of past issues, are always available on the Department of State Web site, www.dos.state.pa.us.

I hope you enjoy your new electronic newsletters!
