SCI Graterford's back gate closed on April 26, 2013. ALL visitors must use the main entrance from Route 29.

We receive many e-mails from family members of inmates who are new receptions to the system and are worried about receiving phone calls from their loved ones. Due to the busy schedule involving inmate orientation, and multiple assessments/evaluations performed upon initial reception, it can be several weeks until an inmate can set up his telephone list and get it approved in order to make phone calls.
