Are you trying to locate an inmate?
If so, use our Inmate Locator

Please note that the DOC Inmate Locator only provides very general information about DOC inmates.  Offenders that are serving county prison sentences or those DOC inmates that have been transferred to a county prison for court purposes, etc., are NOT included in this inmate locator, because county prisons are not under the jurisdiction of the DOC.  If you are trying to find someone in a county prison or someone who has just been arrested, you will need to contact the specific county prison directly.

We receive many e-mails from family members of inmates who are new receptions to the system and are worried about receiving phone calls from their loved ones.  Due to the busy schedule involving inmate orientation, and multiple assessments/evaluations performed upon initial reception, it can be several weeks until an inmate can set up his telephone list and get it approved in order to make phone calls.

The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections uses JPAY for the processing of ALL MONEY ORDERS sent to PA DOC inmates, as well as ALL incoming email.  Money orders are no longer accepted at individual institutions.  This service is provided at NO COST to the inmate or sender and allows the funds to be posted to inmate accounts electronically and result in quicker access to the deposited funds.  Click HERE to learn more.
