2012-2013 Fiscal Year

The Governor's Executive Budget for 2012-2013 includes $1,026,815,000 for the Special Education appropriation.

For the Special Education Funding component, each school district will receive an amount equal to its 2011-2012 allocation.

2012-2013 Proposed Special Education Funding (Excel)

The proposed 2012-2013 Special Education appropriation also includes funding for the following:

Special Education Contingency Fund allocation at 1 percent of the appropriation, approximately $10,263,000
Core Services funding to intermediate units at 5.5 percent of the appropriation, approximately $56,474,825
- 2012-2013 Proposed Intermediate Unit Core allocations (Excel)
Institutionalized Children's Program funding to intermediate units, $9,000,000
