Fetal Death & Certificate of Birth

Resulting in Stillbirth Certificates

 

 

The Division implemented a Certificate of Fetal Death in 1950.  A Certificate of Fetal Death is filed after delivery of a stillborn fetus when the gestational period is over sixteen weeks and shows no evidence of life.  

 

An eligible requestor may apply for a Fetal Death Certificate or a Certificate of Birth Resulting in Stillbirth Certificate.
