1. Why was this website created?

Governor Corbett has made a pledge to make the Pennsylvania government more open and transparent to the public.  This website helps to achieve that goal by creating a centralized clearinghouse for obtaining government data.

3. Where does this data come from?

The data comes from a variety of sources, including the commonwealth’s central reporting systems, as well as sources maintained by specific agencies.

4. How often is this information updated?

Because the data comes from multiple sources, they are refreshed at different times.  Below is the scheduled data refresh by data type:
