The Office of Victims’ Services of the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) announces the availability of up to $200,000 in Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funding, contingent upon the availability of funds.  Under this solicitation, federal funds are being made available to support an Elder Victim Advocates Initiative to provide victims’ services and resources to elderly crime victims in Pennsylvania.

Through this solicitation, PCCD seeks to support the implementation and hiring of Elder Victim Advocates that will be employed by victim service agencies across Pennsylvania, and will work solely with crime victims who are elderly and provide outreach to the various systems currently involved with aiding seniors.  The Elder Victim Advocates will be able to assist elder crime victims in a way that is sensitive to their unique needs.
