User ID already in use: This error message indicates that the User ID already exists and is in use. The User ID is already registered in the Commonwealth authentication database.
· If you know that you have NOT previously registered with a Commonwealth site using this User ID, you will need to select a new User ID.
· If you are already a registered user, select the "Login" hyperlink at the top of the PCCD Egrants User Registration page and you will be transferred to the "Site Access" screen to login with your Commonwealth User ID and Password.
o After you log in, you will be transferred to the "Site Registration" page with many of the fields already prefilled. Fill in the balance of the required fields and select the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.
Email already in use: This error message means one of two things:
· You’re already registered in the Commonwealth authentication database.
· The email is legitimately being used by someone other than you.
o If the email is in use and it is a personal email, you already have a User ID and Password for a Commonwealth Web site. Follow the instructions in bullet two under User ID already in use, above, for logging in.
o If the email in use is not a personal email, contact the Egrants Support Staff for further assistance.
