How do I apply?

Applying for the program is simple and you have a variety of options:

Option 1.  Apply via the web!  www.compass.state.pa.us COMPASS is the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Access to Social Services.  The secure, online application process is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Option 2.  Apply over the phone!  Call 1-800-GO-BASIC and our counselors will start the application process for you over the phone.

Option 3.  Apply through the mail!  Call 1-800-GO-BASIC to receive a “paper” application that can be returned in an enclosed postage-paid envelope.
