Behavioral Health Services for Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing Webinar

The Office for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing and the Office of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services are sponsoring a free webinar which will include presentations and discussion on behavioral health services for individuals who are deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing. There will be a focus on promising practices related to housing, mobile outpatient services and telepsychiatry. The goal of this webinar is to raise awareness of needs, highlight best practices and promote dialogue to support problem-solving at the local, regional and state levels.
The target audience for this webinar is County MH/ID representatives, Behavioral Health Managed Care Organizations, Education Providers, other service providers and advocates.
This webinar can be viewed at one of 6 statewide locations (Pittsburgh, Erie, Harrisburg, Allentown, Scranton and Philadelphia) or from any personal computer with high-speed internet access. Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) will be provided, and ASL interpreters and other accommodation requests will be provided at on-site locations.
Registration is required by Friday, April 20.
