Cancer is defined as "a class of diseases or disorders characterized by uncontrolled division of cells" which then invade body tissues. Cancer affects people of all ages and is one of the leading causes of death in developed countries. There are forms of cancer that are associated with environmental exposures, however, there is no way to completely avoid cancer.
In males, the most commonly diagnosed cancer is prostate cancer, but lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer-related deaths in men. In females, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer, but lung cancer is also attributed with the most deaths. Leukemia is the most common childhood cancer. (Source-Wikipedia)
