The CDW•G Team provides Professional Development Training and Consulting that enables educators to build creative strategies to enhance teaching and learning experiences using technology. Our educational solutions are designed to provide the highest quality learning for your students and professional development resources to address teacher needs and goals. We embrace a 5-step solution which will ensure that each school fully adopts the “Classroom for the Future” (CFF) model including its technology, pedagogy, and best practices for teaching and learning. Full adoption of the CFF model ultimately leads to improved student success, student achievement of the Pennsylvania state standards and self-sustainability.

This 5-step process includes:

  • Assess the current teachers, coaches and administrators technology competency levels
  • Plan and Create Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs) based on specific needs and aligned resources provided by the CDW solution
  • Train teachers, coaches, and administrators based on their Individual Learning Plan needs and goals
  • Mentor teachers, coaches and administrators during the implementation process and tailor courseware to meet specific needs
  • Assess the results

Utilizing a group of certified instructors, training sessions are designed to focus on the fundamentals of computer literacy, the application of technology in the workplace, curriculum integration, and classroom management with technology. Through a balance of on-line instruction, whole group instruction, small group interactions, and performance-based activities these sessions can be augmented by the use of online work environments to facilitate continuing collaboration, communications, community building, mentoring, and feedback on the development of effective practices.

The following training is provided for teachers, coaches, administrators and technical team:

  • Teachers: 2 full days of training for ALL teachers
  • Coaches: 10 full days of training for ALL coaches
  • Administrators: 2 full days of training for ALL Administrators
  • Technical Team: 2 full days of training for ALL technical team members

The CDW•G Team is working closely with the Pennsylvania School/District Administrators and Coaches to plan, design, coordinate and implement staff and teacher training as well as report results on a continuous and on-going basis.
