Act 88 of 2002 Higher Education Completion Rate Data
Act 88 of 2002 was signed into law July 29, 2002, and requires the Pennsylvania Department of Education to collect and report the completion rates of Pennsylvania residents enrolled in undergraduate programs in four-year public colleges and universities and in private, not-for-profit colleges and universities in this Commonwealth. Below are results of the 2012 Act 88 survey.

Percentage Responded: 83%
Number of first-time, full-time students who graduated in four years or less: 25,823
Percentage of first-time, full-time students who graduated in four years or less: 52%
Number of first-time, full-time students who enrolled in a five-year program
and graduated in five years or less 1967
Percentage of first-time, full-time students who enrolled in a five-year program
and graduated in five years or less: 73.8%
