Key Programmatic Functions

  • Serves as the HR Development (Training) Officer for Executive Offices and Affiliates by developing, implementing and/or coordinating a variety of programs, courses and projects associated with the development of employee, supervisory and safety skills training.  Subject matters covered by such training include, but are not limited to:
     
    Supervisory Development
    Workplace Violence Training
    Disability Related Employment  Policy
    SEAP
    Sexual Harassment Prevention
    Employee Performance Review
     
  • Serves as an internal consultant by providing assistance to staff regarding both in and out-service training resource availability.
     
  • Reviews and approves out-service training requests (OSTs).
     
  • Identifies agency training needs through both formal and informal needs assessment functions.
     
  • Coordinates and plans the served office's utilization of the PA Management Associate Program and other intern programs.
