The department's Anti-fraud Compliance Division, funded through the Pennsylvania Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority, works to increase the detection, investigation, prosecution and prevention of insurance fraud in Pennsylvania. The Arson and Insurance Fraud Reporting Notice, Notice 2007-06, offers guidance to insurance companies seeking to fulfill their statutory obligations for reporting suspected arson and/or suspected insurance fraud.
