Juvenile Justice

The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, through its Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) develops policy recommendations and oversees federal and state grant awards. These initiatives seek to improve the Commonwealth's juvenile justice system and prevent violence, delinquency, substance abuse and other related problem behaviors.

OJJDP also ensures that Pennsylvania complies with the Federal Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act.
