Projections and Summaries of State Aid to Pennsylvania Public Libraries

In accordance with the Library Code (Title 24 Pennsylvania Statutes, Chapter 16) and with Title 22 of the Pennsylvania Code, Sections 131 to 143, State Aid is paid to public libraries under seven categories: Quality Libraries Aid, Incentive for Excellence Aid, County Coordination Aid, District Library Center Aid, Statewide Library Resource Center Aid, Equalization Aid, and Equal Distribution Grants.


The Projections of State Aid to Pennsylvania Public Libraries provides a breakdown of the estimated amount of state aid that public libraries and public library systems will receive between July 1 and June 30 of the years specified. These are estimates and do not represent the actual amounts that will be distributed.

Library banking changes and updates can be made via the Payable Services Call Center.

Payment Distribution Information

District Center Libraries have received full payment for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 summer of 2012. Public Libraries have received full payment in January 2013.


The Summaries of State Aid to Public Libraries show a breakdown of the actual amounts paid to public libraries and library systems between July 1 and June 30 of the years specified.
