The State Archives holds a few records of these men, primarily arranged by regiment and company. The records provide little genealogical information. As the first step in determining whether an ancestor served in the Mexican War, 1846-1848, family historians should check the alphabetical listing contained in the Pennsylvania Archives , Sixth Series, Volume 10.
