Introduction to Word
This is an introductory course designed for the new user of Microsoft Word. This course will assist the participant in understanding Microsoft Word's tools, features, and capabilities. Participants will create and format correspondence, save and retrieve their work, and be familiarized with Microsoft Word Help.
Introduction to Access
An introductory course designed to give the student background in designing a database, basic database construction, creating tables, queries, storing, retrieving, and manipulating data.
Introduction to Excel
Designed to give the student foundational knowledge in Excel spreadsheet construction, inputting data, manipulation of information, and formula construction.
Introduction to PowerPoint
One-day course to provide students with the tools necessary to construct, save, and present a slide show presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint. Topics will include presentation design techniques, the PowerPoint screen, toolbars, inputting text and images, inserting media clips, basic animation usage, and the use of slide transitions.
This course is designed to expose the student to more of the creative tools of Microsoft Word. It is highly recommended that students take the Introduction to Word course prior to attending this course. Topics to be covered are: columns, WordArt, ClipArt, autoshapes, image files, spreadsheets and paste special, hyperlinks, and tables.
This course is designed to provide the student who desires more advanced knowledge in working with Access. The course includes a review of the basic functions, building relational databases, and constructing reports, queries and forms.
This course is designed for students who have completed the Introduction to Excel course and will cover some of the more advanced features of the program. Topics will include working in multiple sheets and books, sorting functions, creating charts, and exporting Excel data to other programs.
