Board Welcomes New Member at April Meeting

The State Board of Nursing welcomes its newest member, Bette Wildgust, CRNA, MS, MSN.  She was confirmed as a member of the State Board of Nursing on March 16, 2010. Bette was privileged in taking the oath of office as a member of the State Board of Nursing at the April meeting at Villanova University, where she is a clinical associate professor and program director of the Villanova University College of Nursing Crozer-Chester Medical Center School of Nurse Anesthesia. 

The State Board of Nursing would like to thank the Villanova University College of Nursing for its hospitality during the board's April 12-13 meeting and information session.

Tax Amnesty Coming April 26 to June 18
to Settle Delinquent Taxes

Pennsylvania will be offering a Tax Amnesty period from April 26 to June 18.  During this limited, 54-day timeframe, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue will waive 100 percent of penalties and half of the interest for anyone who pays delinquent state taxes. 

The program is generally available to all individuals, businesses and other entities with Pennsylvania tax delinquencies as of June 30, 2009.
