Ticket to Work
The Ticket to Work and Self-Sufficiency program is a federally established,
nationwide initiative that brings positive change to recipients of Social Security
Disability cash benefits. The program reduces the barriers to employment for
people with disabilities by emphasizing work incentives and more choices of
services leading to work or better wages. The program helps individuals with
disabilities earn enough so they will not need to rely on Social Security cash
benefits.
Ticket to Work may be used to access employment, vocational rehabilitation
and other related services.
