Best Practices Conference

Since 2008, the Pennsylvania Center for Health Careers has presented a day-long conference dedicated to sharing Pennsylvania’s best health care practices. This conference gives health care educators, providers and laborers the opportunity to network with, and learn from, some of the industry’s leading providers of services and programs. Every year, presentations dealing with nursing, allied health, direct care, retention and simulation technology promote innovation and cutting-edge techniques in all health care settings throughout the commonwealth. The planning committee is chaired by Patty Knecht, director of practical nursing for the Chester County Intermediate Unit’s Center for Arts and Technology, Brandywine Campus and Dr. Paula Milone-Nuzzo, dean of the Penn State School of Nursing.

The annual conference has proven to be an enormous success and has grown each year since inception. The conference is usually held in the spring, and is partially funded through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry.
