The PA WIB, in close collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, has responsibility for the implementation of the following initiatives:
- Management of Industry Partnerships
- Pennsylvania Center for Health Careers
- Pennsylvania Center for Advanced Manufacturing Careers
- Pennsylvania Center for Green Careers
- Council for the Workforce of Tomorrow Policy
- Coordination of Regional Career Education Partnerships (RCEPs)
- Coordination of the Nursing Shortage Initiative
