At the Pennsylvania Commission for Women we often get the question, "how can I help?" One of the most powerful but simple things you can do is to contact your local legislator and ask them to support the issues that concern you.
Our legislators need to hear from you because women are the majority of the population in Pennsylvania. By playing a greater role in the political process; women, quite literally have the opportunity to set their own agenda.

A Massachusetts Web site provides an excellent resource on how to contact your legislators, what to say and how to ask for it. But remember, phones calls and letters are best, emailing is least effective.
