The Capitol Police is a Division of the Bureau of Police and Safety with main offices in Room 70E of the Capitol East Wing in Harrisburg. A multi-faceted, accredited law enforcement agency since July 9, 2005, it has full arrest powers within its jurisdiction boundaries in Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Scranton and investigates all reported crimes therein. It maintains a 24/7 presence in Harrisburg and Philadelphia.
