Information Technology Bulletins

Information Technology Bulletins (ITBs) are IT-related policies that apply to agencies, boards and commissions under the Governor’s jurisdiction. ITBs:

• Direct organizations to engage or avoid specific practices.
• Specify enterprise product standards.

The technologies and standards set by ITBs are summarized in the Enterprise IT Standards Quick Reference Guide. The meanings of classifications assigned to software are explained in the technology life cycle classification chart.

Enterprise Architecture Domains

OA-Information Technology classifies its technical policies into 10 enterprise architecture domains:

• Access
• Application
• Enterprise project management
• Information
• Integration
• IT procurement
• Network
• Platform
• Privacy
• Security
• Systems management

These domains can be further categorized by disciplines and technology areas. There is also a grouping for related ITBs, such as IT acquisition.
