Private Licensed School Governance
The Board of Private Licensed Schools, which regulates the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's career and trade schools, is appointed by the Secretary of Education. The Board is composed of 15 representatives from various types of schools and from the general public. Three representatives are appointed from trade schools. Three members represent correspondence schools. Three board members represent business schools and five represent the general public. One member from the Board is a representative of the Attorney General's office.
