The business envelope contract (0008-12) is a good example of a greened contract. The original bright yellow envelopes have been replaced with white envelpoes which can easily be recycled.
PLEASE NOTE: The recycled content products listed here are not only desirable, they have been required for agency purchasing since 1993. This mandate came in the form of Management Directive Number 205.28 in April, 1993. The Management Directive also tied agency purchasing to the federal Environmental Protection Agecy recycled content purchasing guidelines.
