OA-Information Technology’s project management office provides:

• Agencies with experienced, professional project managers on a per-project basis to assist with large, complex IT projects
• Tools and techniques to help commonwealth professionals who manage any kind of project
• Training and mentoring opportunities for agency project managers and executives

While tools and training are available to all commonwealth professionals regardless of the type of project they’re managing, OA-Information Technology project managers are only available for IT projects.  Typically, project managers physically relocate to the requesting agency for the duration of the project.  Supervision is provided jointly by the requesting agency CIO and OA-Information Technology’s executive deputy CIO.

Requests should be made by an agency CIO to their community of practice deputy CIO.
