An anti-government extremist and Gulf War veteran who was obsessed with the white supremacist book, “Turner Diaries”, McVeigh bombed the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995 killing 168. He believed that he was at war with the government over the innocent deaths at Waco and Ruby Ridge. He was executed on June 11, 2001.
